Alles in niederländischer Sprache beschrieben.

Einplanen sollte man ca. 2h 🌷

Absolut fantastische Blumenausstellung

Viele Tulpen, viele Menschen…

Stunning Gardens in April Showers
Beautiful gardens with a huge range of superb displays of tulips in such an array of colours and sizes. It was very busy and at times very wet with torrential showers. It’s didn’t spoil our visit and I was amazed that most of the tulips remained intact. Get there early and bring food and drinks with you to avoid the very busy cafes. Still worth a visit as I have never seen so many stunning tulips

Sunday 5/5 visit was Wonderful!
We visited on Sunday 5/5 and absolutely loved the gardens - even if not all the flowers were still in bloom. We stayed over 4 hours- walking around seeing not only the tulips, but other flowers as well. We also went into the flower shops and went to the 75th anniversary pavilion which had an interesting video about how the bulbs are planted. Note that I understand if you are local, I would pick to go a week or two earlier - but for us - this was the only day available in our trip and I thought well worth it and the highlight of our visit to the Amsterdam area. It is all about managing expectations- we knew many tulips would already be cut but we thought those that were left were spectacular. Since they purposely plant bulbs to bloom at different times, ask at the front when you arrive which section has the most left in bloom.

Superbe jardin

Great
We went 6th May, still beautiful displays and lots to see although a lot of tulips have now finished. Still worth going but if you want to see fields or tulips (surrounding areas), need to go April as warmer and wetter weather meant they’d taken a bartering. Beautiful hot day and still lots to see. Easy to get to, it book a bus ticket at the same time to save hassle. Buses go from a lots of places.

Tulips, tulips and more tulips.
What a fantastic visit. The weather had been very wet and cold, but the sun shone for our visit. We had worried that the tulips might have been damaged by the rain, but it looked stunning. Lots of places to sit, as it is an enormous site. Also lots of places to get refreshments. This was my second visit and would happily come again. The bus from RAI station was very busy, but it’s the best way to get there, although there was a massive traffic jam to get out. I would recommend visiting early in the day so as not to miss anything. There are so many different tulips, it’s truly stunning.

Stunningly Beautiful!!!!
This is absolutely a must-do if visiting in April or May when the Tulips are blooming. We took the Hello Holland bus from the Amsterdam Train station for about 45$ which included the ticket to the Keukenhof. The three hours we spent there flew by meandering the trails past fields of flowers of seemingly infinite variety. Even in a slight drizzle, the gardens were the highlight of the trip. Several places to eat lunch.

Noi siamo andati, purtroppo, a stagione quasi ultimata.

Truly magnificent!
A beautiful day. We spent about 2 hours and I could have stayed twice that. Definitely go up in the windmill- great view of the tulip fields. Go early and avoid crowds. If you can afford it, just take Bolt or Uber. It isn’t cheap but it also is super easy.

Precioso
Precioso, totalmente recomendable.

Beautiful Place to Visit
This is a beautiful botanical garden that I visited during the tulip festival. It only has tulips there and they were all beautiful. I did not know there were so many colors of tulips or types of tulips, but each one was extravagant. If you are a photographer (or just like taking pictures) you will love this with all of the landscaping and especially all of the colors. Some people say you need to spend many hours there while others say an hour or two is enough. I was there 90 minutes and that was fine. For me (not for everyone) there are only so many flowers I can see before itching to leave.

Great excursion.Must see.
Beautiful place!Tip:we visited it on May,early in the morning(08:00 we were there),so we enjoyed the park alone. After 10:00 it is really really crowded.

Beautiful Keukenhof Gardens
We did our own tour of Keukenhof Gardens during the height of the tulip season. The gardens were spectacular and definitely worth a visit. We purchased tickets to the gardens online several months before our trip in mid April and also purchased the Amsterdam Region Travel Ticket (ARTT) in advance. This enabled us to enter the park at approximately the time we had scheduled, walk around the park at our leisure and depart the park when we wanted to. Using the express bus to the Keukenhof Gardens (Bus 852) from Amsterdam RAI was extremely easy. Because it was "high season" for the gardens, Bus 852 was departing RAI approximately every 7-10 minutes. The buses are large and the ride last approximately 30 minutes. On our way to the gardens we passed a couple of active tulip farms. Needless to say the farms are beautiful. The Keukenhof Gardens was easy to enter and restrooms/restaurants were readily available. At the entrance to the gardens head to the right side away from the tour groups. This will enable you to easily enter and avoid waiting in line with the tour groups. The Keukenhof Gardens are extremely well maintained and the tulip patterns are well thought out/spectacular. After we had our fill of the garden/tulips, we exited the park, found bus 852, with the aid of numerous signs directing us in the right direction and employees at the gardens who also offered help/direction, if needed, and were back on our way to RAI. When we went to RAI from the hotel, we utilized a taxi. Pro tip, especially if you are comfortable using the metro in Amsterdam, use the metro and save a lot of time/money. On our way back from RAI to Amsterdam, we took the metro. The metro is clean, easy to use and one of the most efficient ways to travel while in Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. The Amsterdam Regional Travel Ticket will give you unlimited access to the metro, buses and trolleys operating in the city of Amsterdam. The ARTT are well worth the money. Next time we are in Amsterdam, we will ensure that we purchase and utilize the ARTT to their fullest extent.

Top park Keukenhof
Machtig mooi park, goede verzorging, schone toiletten, bloeiende bloemen. Goede catering.

Nice gardens, but got crowded quickly, despite the weather!
Not going to go too much into it, plenty of other reviews saying the same thing. Great gardens, clearly a lot of effort goes into maintaining the location. Its not a particularly cost effect trip, nor is it overly expensive, just a bit on the steeper side. We paid for the inclusive bus transfer from Amsterdam Rai. Even though it is timed, they might be visible when they scan you QR code, but it felt a little 1st come 1st served. Bus service was fine. We found that with some visitors, they were definitely on the "entitled" side, stepping over barriers and pushing other people out of the way to take photos. Spoils the experience with this sense of entitlement. We arrived early, arriving at about 8:45, when it was relatively quiet, we would recommend arriving as early as possible, as by about midday, the hoards of people spoiled it a bit. All in all, a decent (half) day out. We left at about 2pm or so.

So amazing. Can not miss this!!
This exceeded my expectation by 10x. The picture don’t do it justice. It was so beautiful all the tulips varieties and other flowers. You can roam for hours. We took a boat ride too. We hit tail end if the flowers and they had some storms so a lot of the fields were already cut BUT it was still worth it! Each bulb is planted by hand each year. So incredible. If you are there for the 6 weeks, you have to go!!

NOT CLOSED UNTIL MAY 12TH...Open until then and then it closes
First...Tripadvisor site shows the Keukenhof is temporarily closed until May 12...NOT TRUE! It is open until that day and then closed! OK....We loved Keukenhof for the third time now over about 5 years. To be honest, you can't take enough pictures and to post them online but...they don't do it justice! You have to be there and experience it. Today, April 30 was FULL of people...thousands of people! It was great! It took awhile to "go with the flow" but, I did and slowed down to a slower pace than I wanted. The gardens are unbelievable and SO beautiful! I'll be back again; I hope. Everyone was smiling and taking pictures and having such a good time.

Tulips and tulips
The flowers were beautiful and plentiful. The crowds were overwelling. There didn't seem to be a limit on how many people could squeeze into a shop or a food line. The boat ride was very nice and relaxing. The weather was perfect on our day so that was a real plus. There were many varieties of flowers that were not actually for sale, just display. That was disappointing. We were able to purchase a nice selection, but would have like several others that were not. Would recommend going earlier than end of April, since alot of the flowers were already cut off by now, but still worth the trip.

Breathtakingly Beautiful, but busy
The tulip gardens are stunningly beautiful, at every turn there are huge swathes of different colours and varieties and the park itself is vast so there is a lot to see. Would have liked more info on the flowers. By the afternoon it was unbearably busy so would recommend going first thing.

A must if you love flowers
We booked a trip that included a bus and entry ticket. Fortunately we chose to arrive what we thought was early at 9.30 am but even then it was extrremely busy. Maps are available at the entrance but it is just as easy to walk around and admire the amazing flowers that are displayed. Obviously some have bloomed and some are still to bloom but the colours and layout are brilliant. Learning about how Kuekenhof works was very interesting. Plenty of places to get refreshments and restrooms. Busy Busy place but would recommend arriving early as the traffic build up around the area when we left about midday ws very bad

Prachtig

This is what heaven must be like. Absolutely Amazing! Must See.
This is what heaven must be like. Absolutely Amazing! My mother and I went to see this in late April and we were both fully blown away. We got there at opening time at 8am and that was really worth it as the first hour for us was really quiet and we got to experience the flowers in silence and listen to the birds. We pre-purchased our tickets online prior but there doesn't seem to be a limit on numbers and we saw people buying tickets at the front gate. Everything was really perfect. The numbers of flowers, the way that they were arranged, and how they were integrated into the landscape with trees, streams, ponds, bridges, and sculptures. Truly amazing! We spent 7.5 hours there and felt that we saw most of the area. We laughed a bit at the petting zoo, which seemed to have one really dirty sheep and two goats but we really came for the flowers. Tickets were about $20 Canadian per person, which was incredibly cheap for what you get--tremendous value for that price. The whisper boat was about 45 minutes and cost something like $25 Canadian per person and it was well worth it. A good chance to sit down after a lot of walking! The electric boat took us away from the treed ground of Keukenhof and out in the tulip fields where there were row upon row of various colored tulips in large fields that went on for hundreds of metres. It was really astonishing and totally worth it. They provide recorded tours in multiple languages on headphones. We stopped several times for tea, snacks and had lunch. There is are about 12 different shops on the grounds that sell souvenirs and provide drinks and food and pretty reasonable prices. Overall for the entire day with entrance, whisperboat, snacks, a few small souvenirs, drinks, and lunch I spent about $155 Canadian (about 100 Euros). 10/10 I would go back again and again and again.

Spectacular Keukenhof
Visiting Keukenhof is one of the best things I've ever done! The gardens were much bigger than I expected and the tulips were truly unbelievable - I had no idea there were so many varieties. It's just spectacular! We went on a cold, wet morning and booked for the 8am bus from Europaplein. I had contemplated changing our booking to the afternoon when the weather was due to improve but I am so glad I didn't! Arriving early in the morning, there weren't many people about and it was easy to get great photos, there were no queues for the coffee shops or for the lovely souvenir shops. The rain was intermittent but there's good cover in the park as well as a couple of large halls where you can duck into so really don't worry too much if the weather forecast is grim. You're allowed to take food and drink in and there are loads of benches all over the park where you can sit and eat. We didn't experience any crazy bus queues as mentioned in previous comments; perhaps because we went early. However there is no bus specifically designated for each time slot ie. there is no 8am bus - you just arrive on time and stand in line until the bus arrives but they are frequent. We spent about 4hrs there and I think the cost of the ticket (€37) which included the return bus trip, was great value. There was nothing I didn't like about Keukenhof.

Heel mooi kleurrijk park !
Het Keukenhof is werkelijk de moeite waard. Zoveel bloemenpracht is verbluffend. 😊

A faire impérativement!
Attention!

Simply Stunning
We've visited Keukenhof gardens once before (in late March) and we were a bit too early. While it's clearly weather dependant, mid April seems the perfect time to go. It's hard to get away from the phrase "sunning" - millions of (primarily) tulips beautifully laid out. High quality displays in the greenhouses add to the experience. It was very busy (Tuesday), but that's to be expected I guess. Friendly, helpful staff, nice food on offer.
